Terracotta warriors to get own subway station

Xi’an is to build an underground station to cater for visitors to its mostfamous attraction – the terracotta warriors. Xinhua reported that the city’snew subway, which began construction in 2006, will see the 30km extensionto Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museumcompleted by 2013.
The district receives 7.5 million tourists every year,including 500,000 from overseas, the report added.
