Terror returns to Marriott

Marriott Hotels & Resorts once again became the target of terrorists on Saturday, when a huge car bomb ripped through the Marriott Islamabad in Pakistan, killing an estimated 40 people, according to BBC reports. The latest incident follows that of August 2003, when Islamic terrorists once again used a car bomb to devastate the JW Marriott Jakarta, Indonesia, killing 12 people and injuring 150. It is also not the first time Marriott’s Islamabad property has been targeted; in January 2007 the hotel suffered an apparent suicide bomb attack which killed 2 people.
