From 25 October 2015, the long-haul low-cost carrier will add a second daily flight on the route. The new service will depart Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport every day at 0805, arriving at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 1520. The return flights will then leave Incheon at 1625, arriving back in Bangkok at 2015.
This complements the existing daily service, which departs Don Mueang at 0155, and the return flight which leaves Incheon at 1205.
Both daily flights will be operated using Thai AirAsia X’s 377-seat, two-class Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
“Seoul and Bangkok continue to be a very popular destination for both Thai and Korean travellers,” said Nadda Buranasiri, CEO of Thai AirAsia X. “Since our inaugural flight to Seoul in June 2014 we have reached an average load factor of 83%.
“There is great potential for this route to continually grow and in order to meet this demand, we are now launching a second daily flight so passengers will have more options and flexibility to choose their travel time.”
Passengers will be able to connect to the Bangkok-Seoul from other cities in Thailand and Southeast Asia using AirAsia‘s Fly-Thru transit service.
