THAI Airways International (THAI) has announced the launch of two new routes to Phuket for the forthcoming winter high season. The national carrier will operate a Bangkok-Copenhagen-Phuket routing three times a week from 11 November, using a Boeing 747-400 aircraft, as well as a new, thrice-weekly direct connection between Phuket and Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
In addition, the existing Bangkok-Phuket-Perth will now operate only between Phuket and Perth, with three weekly A330-300 flights. The Thai resort island will be disconnected from the Bangkok-Tokyo-Phuket service however, with the Narita service now flying to Bangkok only.
