THAI goes back into red
Thai Airways has posted its first loss in three quarters, the Bangkok Post has reported. Thailand’s national carrier confirmed a second-quarter net loss of THB9.3 billion (US$278 million), compared with the THB430 million (US$12.1 million) loss recorded a year earlier. The carrier has blamed the results on high jet fuel prices.
