THAI improves services for First Class passengers from Dubai

THAI Airways International has taken steps to further improve its First Class services to passengers travelling the Dubai-Bangkok route.Upon arrival and departure at Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok, First Class passengers are now met by uniformed ground staff and are assisted through Immigration and Customs procedures.Dedicated porters are also on hand to escort passengers to and from their ground transport plus complimentary return pick up and drop off limo transfer services are offered in Dubai.THAI launched its inaugural First Class Service between Dubai and Bangkok in December 2009.The A340-600 departs Dubai daily at 23:15, arriving 08:35 the next day. The First Class cabin features eight First Class seats, 60 Business Class seats and 199 in Economy.The First Class seats recline to 180 degrees, with a pitch of 76 inches, complete with lumbar support and massage, leg and foot rest and personal stowage bin as well as almost seven feet of space in which to stretch out.THAI’s Royal Orchid Lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport offers a private office and meeting rooms, telephone, fax and internet access; TV; libraries with international newspapers and journals. There are restrooms and showers, plus, for First Class passengers, the Royal Spa providing two private therapy suites and sauna, exercise and yoga spaces. First Class Passengers are transported by electric cart directly to the gate when it is time to board.
