THAI launches direct flight to Luang Prabang

Thai Airways International (THAI) will launch direct flights between Bangkok and Luang Prabang this week.
The inaugural flight to the lazy Laotian city is due for take-off on Sunday 26 October, with four weekly services operated from 27 October.
Flight TG 576 will depart the Thai capital at 1255 and arrive in Luang Prabang at 1400. The return leg TG 577 will depart the heritage town at 1450, landing back in Bangkok at 1625.
As THAI resumes direct services to this popular Mekong destination, it will compete directly with Lao Airlines and Bangkok Airways.
