Thai Airways has cut fuel surcharges on international routes by an average of 30%, the Bangkok Post has reported. The latest move follows a similar reduction last month in response to the continued drop in world oil prices.
The new THAI surcharges range from US$25 to US$175 per flight sector, depending on the route, distance and competition. The domestic charge was lowered by only THB50 (US$1.45) to THB700.
