Thai protesters will not close Phuket airport

Supporters of Thailand’s People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) have reassured the country that they will not blockade Phuket International Airport, despite the recent flare-up in tensions in Bangkok.
In September, Phuket and Hat Yai airports were forced to close after the PAD staged protests there.
