THAI traffic climbs in August

Thai Airways International (THAI) has released registered a 4.7% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPK), in August 2011. The airline added 4.5% more seat capacity compared to August 2010, allowing average load factors to edge up to 74.6%. For the first eight months of the year, THAI’s RPK climbed 3.2% on a 4.8% capacity expansion. Load factors average 72.5%.
