The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will undertake its annual Indian roadshow this month.
Events will be held in Bengaluru on 10 February, Chennai on 12 February and Ahmedabad on 14 February, giving the Indian travel trade the opportunity to learn more about Thailand as a destination and the products it has to offer. The roadshow will include participation from 30 Thai tourism suppliers.
“We have brought together a sizeable contingent of the most relevant hotels, DMCs and attractions to arm the travel agent for the year ahead,” said Sethaphan Buddhani, director of the TAT’s Mumbai office.
The events will also aim to boost confidence among Indian travel agents amid the protests currently being staged in Bangkok. The TAT noted however, that there have been very few cancellations reported from India thus far.
