Desaru Coast Malaysia is continuing its three-stage opening, having started with The Els Club Desaru Coast – The Ocean, a 27-hole course designed by Ernie Els, and now the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast.
The next opening will be The Els Club Desaru Coast – The Valley, an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Vijay Singh, slated to open in early 2017.
The Desaru Coast development includes hotels, a conference centre, a 27-hole and 18-hole golf course, a themed water park and a retail village.
Developed by Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels (TAR&H), the development spans over 3,900 acres along a 17km beachfront facing the South China Sea.

Desaru Coast aims to provide an all-round destination especially for discerning travellers in this

The development of the destination will be rolled out in three phases. Phase 1 consists of the
following, covering 1,900 acres of the 3,900 acres plot:

The Els Club Desaru Coast – The Ocean (27 holes); The Els Club Desaru Coast – The Valley (18 holes); Retail Village, a 23-acre waterfront landscaped retail and lifestyle village in the heart of Desaru Coast; Desaru Coast Adventure Water Park:, featuring one of the world’s largest wave pools, the water park is suitable for families and thrill seekers.
A fully-equipped multipurpose venue that can host up to 1,000 participants.
