RANJAY RADHAKRISHNAN has become the new chief human resources officer at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), effective 1 December. He joins IHG from Unilever, where he has spent 23 years in a range of senior leadership roles, most recently as executive vice president of global HR.
JEROME THIL has been named vice president of marketing for Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he joins at a key time for Sabre, ahead of the launch of its new agent solution, Sabre Red Workspace. Most recently he worked for Amadeus.
VIJAY KRISHNAN has become general manager of the Alila Fort Bishangarh, which will open in Jaipur in Q1 2017. He joins the Alila team with more than 25 years of experience, including spells with The Park Hotels and Hyatt. Most recently he was GM of The Anya Gurgaon.
VIVEK MAHAJAN has been appointed general manager of the Crystal Sarovar Premiere in Agra. Mahajan has 14 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including spells with Oberoi, Taj, Starwood and Wyndham Hotels. He is an alumnus of BHM Bangalore.
MAHESH CHAND RAJWAR has been named general manager of Lords Hotels & Resorts’ property in Silvassa. He movers to the 51-room luxury resort from Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, where is served as GM of a Country Inn and Suites hotel. He has also worked for Taj and Trident.
ANDREW STUART McLAREN has been announced as the new island manager for the Coco Privé Kuda Hithi Island in the Maldives. McLaren joins Coco Collection following a spell as household manager to a senior government minister in Saudi Arabia. He has previously worked in the US and Kenya.
ANUJ SOIN has been named as the new food & beverage manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon. Soin is no stranger to the hotel, having spent the last 2.5 years as its events manager, focusing on F&B. Prior to that he worked as restaurant manager at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon.
JOHN ALLANSON has been appointed general manager of the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort, effective immediately. A UK national, Allanson brings 30 years’ experience to Outrigger, having worked at hotels in the Maldives, Vietnam and UK. Most recently he was GM of the Six Senses Con Dao, Vietnam.
