ARTHUR HOFFMAN has become the new President of the Expedia Affiliate Network. He joins the division from Expedia’s Rome-based online reservations business, Venere.com, where he was Managing Director. Prior to joining Expedia, Hoffman was General Manager of Qantas Holidays.
STEFAN PICHLER has been announced as the new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Airways, effective 1 September 2013. Pichler was formerly Chairman & CEO of Thomas Cook AG and most recently served as CEO of Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways.
ANDRE SCHOLL has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Marco Polo Hotels. The move marks a promotion for Scholl, who previously served as the Hong Kong hotelier’s Vice President of Group Operations. He has also worked with Shangri-La and Mandarin Oriental.
ANNE BOLOGNA has been appointed as TripAdvisor’s new Vice President of Brand Strategy. An experienced branding executive, Ms Bologna was previously Managing Director at MDC Partners in New York, responsible for brands such as Starbucks, Virgin, Pepsi and Amazon.
JOACHIM HOLTE has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Wego. He arrives at the travel search site with 13 years of online experience, most recently as Executive General Manager of the Wotif Group in Australia. He also worked for Yahoo! in Australia and New Zealand.
JANET McNAB has become Starwood’s new General Manager for South Thailand, and GM of The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa, Phuket. She takes the new role having spent 25 years with Starwood, most recently as GM of the Four Points by Sheraton Sukhumvit 15 in Bangkok.
BRYAN KAPECKAS has been appointed as the new Director of Revenue Analytics for Hawaiian Airlines. Kapeckas brings 13 years of airline experience to the role. Prior to joining Hawaiian, he served as Alliances & Airlines Partnerships Manager at JetBlue Airways.
DESIREE FISH has been named as the new Vice President of Global Communications for TripAdvisor. Ms Fish spent the past 13 years of her career at American Express where she most recently held the position of Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Communications.
