PEKKA VAURAMO has been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer of Finnair, effective 1 June 2013. Vauramo has been based in Hong Kong since 2010 and works as Chief Operating Officer for the MacGregor Business Area of Cargotec. He has also been Deputy CEO of Cargotec.
GEORGE TANZMAN has been named as Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas’ new Chief Financial Officer. A veteran of Four Seasons Hotels, Tanzman spent 22 years with the luxury hotelier, including a spell as Director of Financial Analysis for Four Seasons Asia Pacific. He will be based in Bangkok.
NEERAJ CHADHA has been appointed as Marriott International’s new Multi-Property Vice President for Australia. The move marks a promotion for Chadha who is currently General Manager of the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa. He has 20 years of experience, including 10 as a GM.
MEG GALLETTI has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources for Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas. Ms Galletti joins the company’s Bangkok-based team from Rosewood Hotels & Resorts where she spent 25 years in various senior human resources roles around the globe.
PATRICK LUKAN has joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s (CWT) Meetings & Events unit as Senior Director of Global Operations. With two decades of travel industry experience, Lukan has worked with companies including American Airlines, Sabre and Travelport prior to joining CWT.
PAULINE HOUSTON has been named as Director of Global Supplier Management for Hotels and Meetings & Events, with CWT Meetings & Events. Ms Houston has been with CWT since 2009 and previously headed up CWT Meetings & Events for the United Kingdom & Ireland.
PUNPREUK SMITINAND has been appointed as the new Marketing Communications Manager for the W Retreat Koh Samui. A Thai national, Ms Punpruek joins the resort from another Starwood property – the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, A Luxury Collection Hotel Bangkok.
