The Park Hotels has unveiled its newest Indian property, located in the Jim Corbett National Park.
Set to open this winter, The Park Corbett will become the first branded luxury hotel to open in the park, which is located in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand.
“The majority of our hotels are in cities across India and it is exciting to grow the collection into more off-the-beaten-track leisure destinations. We expect to see significant demand for The Park Corbett from international guests,” said Priya Paul, chair of The Park Hotels.
On track to welcome its first guests in November 2015, The Park Corbett will provide 40 rooms spread over 2.6 hectares of land, surrounded by lakes and landscaped gardens.
Rooms will include 20 round cottages, two of which have indoor plunge pools, four hut cottages, two tree houses and seven sets of villas with private gardens and outdoor living space.
Home to an array of wildlife, including tigers, Jim Corbett National Park inspired Rudyard Kipling’s famous Jungle Book stories.
The new hotel joins existing Park Hotels in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Visakhapatnam, plus Park Collection properties in Goa and Chennai and Zone by The Park hotels in Coimbatore and Jaipur.
