Thirteen die in Philippine tourist bus crash
At least 13 people have been killed in a bus crash on a remote mountain road in the Philippines. According to a BBC report, the bus was carrying as many as 70 tourists, mainly from Pakistan and Iran, when it plunged into a ravine on the central island of Cebu. About 40 people have been pulled from the wreckage alive. Officials were reported saying that the bus’s brakes may have failed.
