CHEF ABHAS MEHROTRA has been appointed Chef de Cuisine at Taj Dubai’s global eatery, TESORO. Young, dynamic and innovative, Chef Aabhas comes to Taj Dubai with an impressive culinary career in India’s most lauded restaurants. A graduate of Oberoi Center of Learning and Development with top honours, he has worked under several Michelin-Star chefs and won several awards and competitions in India. With a focus on extensive culinary creativity, experience in creating recipes as well as handling and preparation of elaborate meals using the finest and freshest produce, Aabhas is set to make his mark on the Tesoro menu.
LAURENT BARELIER has been appointed corporate director of revenue management and e-distribution at TIME Hotels. A graduate of the American College of Greece and holder of an MBA in International Hospitality Management from Cornell University, Paris, French national Barelier has more than 17 years’ corporate hospitality experience having worked for a number of successful international hospitality chains both in the Middle East and globally. His career includes senior management roles with Intercontinental in Athens, Greece, Accor Hotels, Dubai, Wyndham Hotel group, Dubai and latterly as a management consultant for the Majestic Tower Hotel, Dubai.
