Thomas Cook India has expanded its nationwide network of travel stores with the launch of two new outlets in the state of Maharashtra.
The travel company unveiled the new ‘Golden Circle’ franchise outlets recently in Malad, a suburb north of Mumbai, and Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
The new outlets were inaugurated by Jatinder Paul Singh, senior vice president and head of sales & distribution for Thomas Cook’s outbound leisure travel division.
“I am delighted to launch our Gold Circle partner outlets at both Malad and Kharghar,” said Singh.
“This is a reiteration of our strategic intent at Thomas Cook India – to expand our footprint across key markets via our impactful Gold Circle partner franchisee model. Mumbai and Maharashtra state have been a powerhouse in our success story and these new retail outlets at Malad and Kharghar will take us a step closer to our consumers’ doorstep.”
The two new openings expand Thomas Cook India’s footprint in the state of Maharashtra to 35 locations, with a combination of owned branches and franchise outlets. The company said it has identified the state as a “priority market” for its expansion efforts.
Both new branches will offer a range of domestic and international holiday products and services, including air tickets, hotels bookings, cruises, individual and group tours, visa services and insurance.
