Thomas Cook to open second Casa Cook hotel in Kos
Following on from its successful opening of Casa Cook Rhodes in May, Thomas Cook has announced its second own-brand hotel will open on the Greek island of Kos in July 2017.
Nestled between countryside and the beach in the seaside town of Marmari, Casa Cook Kos will offer guests the chance to relax and unwind within a stylish and laid-back environment, influenced by its Mediterranean surroundings.
The new 100-room hotel will offer modern double rooms and suites, as well as exclusive two-bedroom Villa Suites which benefit from their own private pools. Guests will be able to enjoy Casa Cook Kos’ sport and well-being facilities, including yoga classes, state-of-the-art gym, hammam and massages.
At the heart of the hotel will be the Casa Cook Beach Club – a first for Thomas Cook. Located next to the beach, the club will offer guests and non-hotel guests a space to soak up the sun, enjoy locally inspired dishes made with fresh, local ingredients and relax while listening to live music from the resident DJ.
Casa Cook Kos will have its very own store selling fashion, home and lifestyle accessories.
Remo Masala, group creative director, Thomas Cook said: “We designed the Casa Cook concept to appeal to travellers who perhaps thought a package holiday wasn’t for them – for those who want a unique experience. In just one season, our first Casa Cook in Rhodes has shown us the size of opportunity. We’re delighted to be able to build on this success with the launch of a new Casa Cook in Kos. Set to open in summer 17, the new hotel will provide guests with a laid-back and stylish holiday in a stunning location.”
The Casa Cook concept was introduced in line with the company strategy of profitable growth and differentiation. Since opening in May 2016, 90% of customers who stayed at Casa Cook Rhodes have been new to Thomas Cook. The Casa Cook concept complements the business’ other five hotel brands – Sunwing, Sunprime, SENTIDO, SunConnect and smartline.
In the UK, Casa Cook Kos will be available to book this autumn for holidays from July 2017 with prices starting from £525 per person for a week-long stay on a bed and breakfast board basis, departing from London Stansted.
