Thomson Airways has continued to ramp up its Dreamliner services as it looks to welcome its 250,000th passenger onboard the aircraft this winter.
So far 240,000 people have travelled on the company’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner since its launch in June.
The airline’s winter schedule will see the aircraft used on flights to the Dominican Republic, while other inaugural flights will start to Jamaica, the Maldives, Thailand, Barbados, Kenya, Cuba and Goa.
Thomson’s winter schedule will start on Friday (1 November) and it hopes to continue receiving its 97% excellent or good customer service rating with passengers.
“We’ve worked really hard to modernise our holidays and the 787 has been a key part of that. We knew that customers travelling on the Dreamliner this summer would really enjoy the in-flight experience that this revolutionary new aircraft offers, so we’re delighted to receive such excellent customer feedback,” said Carl Gissing, director of customer service for Thomson Airways.
