Tiger Airways performance hit by suspension

Tiger Airways saw a 32% slump in passenger traffic in July 2011, following the grounding of its 10 aircraft in Australia. The low-cost carrier recorded just 358,000 passengers last month, compared to 523,000 in July 2010. Load factors averaged 86% – three percentage points down year-on-year.
