07 September 2009 - TMS Asia-Pacific has commenced the international roll-out of its ‘TMS Academy’ concept following the successful implementation of the executive training school model in Singapore last month.
Starting from mid-September the recruitment specialist will offer a series of comprehensive, qualification-based training programs.
These will focus on corporate travel, F&B, revenue management and personal development.
The first available course will be based on an intensive two-day Hospitality Revenue Management Workshops.
TMS CEO Andrew Chan said the courses are intended to provide participants with an understanding of best practice revenue management processes and what it takes to create a winning revenue management culture for hotels.
TMS has partnered with international hospitality revenue management solutions supplier IDeaS to offer the programs from its location in Gordon on Sydney’s North Shore.
“The courses, while aimed principally at existent industry staff, are also geared to target and attract mid-level to senior executives in transition from other business areas,” Mr Chan said.
The Singapore and Australian ‘Academies’ form the template for similar ‘Academies’ the company is considering establishing in several of its international areas of operation.
These include other parts of Asia, the Middle East, the UK/Europe and North America.
Revenue Management - Creating a Winning Culture dates as follows: 17-18 September 2009
