Tourism Australia commences new airline campaign

Tourism Australia has commenced a new marketing campaign with Etihad Airways and Virgin Australia to promote holidays to the country.
The GBP870,000 campaign will run across the UK in May under the ‘There’s nothing like Australia’ theme to build sales of the Etihad Skypass.
“We have an important alliance with Etihad Airways that enables us to provide seamless one-stop services between Australia and Europe, with a focus on the highest quality product and service. Through this innovative collaboration with Etihad Airways and Tourism Australia, we can ensure maximum reach for the campaign and a first-rate flight experience for UK holidaymakers travelling to and within Australia,” said Mark Hassell, chief customer officer at Virgin Australia.
“The UK is traditionally one of Australia’s largest visitor markets and we believe there is scope to increase visitation further through showcasing some of the breath-taking regional wonders of Australia,” he added.
The Etihad Skypass allows connections from Abu Dhabi to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney with 27 domestic onward connections.
