Hotel reservation specialist Travel Tripper has opened a new office in London.
The company’s booking technology, e-commerce platform and presence will now be available to the European market.
Travel Tripper already has a strong presence in the United States and has a growing presence in Asia and Australia.
“Travel Tripper has always been a strong technology and digital marketing partner for independent hotels here in the United States, and with such a strong presence of independent hotels in Europe, it was a natural fit for us to dedicate an office specifically for the UK and European market,” said Gautam Lulla, president of Travel Tripper.
The new office will be led by John Power, the vice president of EMEA sales of Travel Tripper. He was formerly the head of sales at Bookassist, a hotel booking and distribution software company, and veteran of the industry. Power has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector from opening new markets and starting his own startup.
Joining Power in the UK office will be John Bradley as head of sales. Bradley brings over 15 years of hotel sales and marketing experience to this role. Additionally, Andres Gil, with more than seven years of experience in different fields within the hospitality and travel industry, will be the manager of business development and Levi Silver, with five years in the hospitality industry, will join the sales and business development team.
“I’m thrilled to be heading Travel Tripper’s European expansion and to be a part of a team that’s continually developing new technologies for the hotel industry,” said Power. “The team is ready to take Travel Tripper to the next level and permeate the company throughout Europe.”
The new office is located at 1 Primrose Street, London.
