Travelport led celebrations at Flight Centre’s Global Gathering in Paris last weekend, which gathered more than 2,300 of the company’s top consultants and leaders. Themed ‘Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger’, the event celebrated the company’s achievements and recognised top performers.
As a top tier sponsor, Travelport organised the opening party at the Grand Palais, arranged a golf day for Flight Centre leaders, and Travelport’s Chief Commercial Officer, Kurt Ekert presented an update on the new Travelport Universal Desktop. Travelport’s Chief Executive Officer, Gordon Wilson also spoke to Flight Centre executive management on the future of travel and industry trends.
“Our annual Global Gatherings offer the chance for us as a company to reflect on our achievements and celebrate successes. This year was no different and we thank Travelport for all their efforts in making it possible. It’s this unwavering support that underpins the strength of our partnership,” said Graham Turner, Managing Director of Flight Centre.
“We were pleased to be a part of Flight Centre’s Global Gathering this year. The partnership between Flight Centre and Travelport has spanned over 20 years and it’s only getting stronger. Travelport will continue to invest in its products, services and people in helping Flight Centre grow and reach new heights,” said Kurt Ekert.
