Regent Airways, a start-up airline in Bangladesh, has commenced operations with Travel Technology Interactive’s (TTI) Aeropack NG airline management system. The web-based solution allows airlines to manage their inventory, schedules, fares, reservations and departure control operations. Regent Airways has opted for the Full Connect platform, which gives them the ability to expand their distribution strategy to include GDS distribution channels, and strengthen partner airline alliances with codeshare and interline capabilities. Chittagong-based Regent is one of three airline customers in Asia Pacific to have signed long-term deals with TTI.
“Travel Technology Interactive is in a very unique position; our solutions are cost effective, comprehensive and they give small to medium sized airlines the option to extend their reach with full GDS connectivity with BSP settlement capabilities,” said Gregoire Echalier, Managing Director of TTI. “In addition, our customers can expect our solution to evolve and improve as development requests come in from our network of 40 airline customers globally. That’s how we believe we should grow with our customers.”
