TUI Travel has extended its agreement with Amadeus as it looks to provide more personalised services.
The new multi-year agreement will support the tour operator’s digital strategy and provide more ancillary services that will help customise holidays for each passenger.
Search and distribution will be a ‘key enabler’ for its long-term success, a statement said.
“We, at TUI Travel are all about improving the holiday experience for our customers. Nowadays, that means offering services as personalised and differentiated as possible as well as creating packages which include services that will help to make our customers’ trip unique. We believe that by committing to Amadeus as our partner we are closer to achieving these goals,” said Jim Mann, group purchasing director at TUI Travel.
Albert Pozo, VP global customer group at Amadeus said: “We are very pleased to have extended and broadened our partnership with TUI Travel. We are delighted to work together with TUI Travel to help deliver on their strategy and shape the future of leisure travel.”
TUI has also signed a partner for its new multi-currency travel money card and mobile application. It will be working with PrePay Solutions to offer the currency cards, which can hold up to eight currencies and be topped up online, in store and soon via an app.
