Turkish Airlines has launched a new motto after reaching 200 destinations on its network.
The airline has ditched its ‘Globally Yours’ strapline for ‘Widen Your World’ to show the various destinations and connections it has available.
To mark the new positioning the airline launched a new video commercial continuing its partnership with Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi.
The video shows the two continue their rivalry laid out in its previous on-board commercial to this time focus on destinations such as Moscow, China, the Maldives, Bangkok, Mount Kilimanjaro and Istanbul.
In addition the airline has announced several updates to its services including ‘Flying Chefs’ on long-haul flights and a new catering concept that will have ‘candle-light’ features.
Its entertainment system will be updated with live television in the pipeline. The airline is also looking at developing airport lounges.
“We have expanded our reach and capability through a series of large-scale aircraft orders and continual network expansion. Turkish Airlines is now positioned as a key player in the global aviation community and has won a significant number of awards that reinforce this status. Our new brand identity invites customers to come fly and experience Turkish Airlines,” said Faruk Çizmecioğlu, CMO at Turkish Airlines.
