Turkish, SWISS pen codeshare deal

March 17th 2010: Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines and Swiss International Airlines signed a code-share agreement, adding each others’ codes on their flights between Istanbul with Zurich, Geneva and Basel.
The agreement with Swiss International Airlines will enable Turkish Airlines to operate its Istanbul-Zurich, Geneva, Basel flights service much efficiently for their passengers. The code sharing agreement will allow both Turkish Airlines and Swiss Internationals to share two characters in codes on airline reservation systems.
The Partnership with Swiss International Airlines will allow both airlines’ members, Miles&Smiles and Miles&More, to collect and redeem miles on each other’s flights.
