United forecasts Q1 revenue drop

United Airlines has said that its first-quarter revenues may fall as much as 13.3%. Bloomberg reported United’s parent company, UAL Corp., as saying that the decline was due to a predicted 16.2% drop in passenger numbers in the first three months of the year.
United joins American Airlines and Continental Airlines in forecasting Q1 2009 revenue declines.
