United launches Dubai flights

United Airlines has launched a new daily service connecting Dubai to the US capital, Washington DC, the Gulf News has reported. service is set to offer Middle East travellers access to a network of services across the United States.
Effective 27 October, United will fly direct to Washington Dulles, giving customers the opportunity to connect to over 80 destinations across the US, Canada and the Caribbean
“This new route further strengthens our presence in the Middle East and allows us to take advantage of the growing commerce between the region and the United States,” said Marcel Fuchs, United’s Managing Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
