In response to a significant increase in the volume of enquiries about solo travel, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has expanded its solo travel offering by waiving the single supplement on 203 European cruise departures in 2017.
The operator has said that savings of up to £2,900* can be had by solo travellers taking one of Uniworld’s luxurious, all-inclusive river cruises next year. A further 69 cruise departures across ten different European itineraries are selling with a reduced Single Supplement offer in 2017.
“Solo travel is a big opportunity for the trade,” said Kathryn Beadle, Managing Director – UK. “We are seeing this area of the market exhibit significant growth and we recognise the importance of single supplement waivers in helping agents to harness the value of the solo travel market.”
Some of the most popular European itineraries eligible for No Solo Supplement cruising in 2017 include the eight day Enchanting Danube which discovers the best of Eastern and Western Europe from Budapest to Passau, Connoisseur Collection departures on the eight day Bordeaux, Vineyards & Châteaux cruise, and a number of Christmas market itineraries including the eight day Rhine Holiday Markets. The offer is also available on the eight day Paris & Normandy itinerary onboard the brand new Super Ship, the S.S. Joie de Vivre, sailing from March 2017.
No Solo Supplements are available on selected departures only, so agents should refer to the offers page on the Uniworld website to check cruise itineraries and dates.
