Uniworld has launched its 2017 Europe & Russia Boutique River Cruises brochure, unveiling a number of product expansions, including all new golf excursions in France, which are exclusive to guests aboard their brand new Super Ship, the S.S. Joie de Vivre, sailing from March 2017.
Golf enthusiasts will delight at the addition of two new golf excursions on the eight day Paris & Normandy itinerary, included in the price of the cruise. Uniworld’s new golf experiences visit two of Europe’s top courses; the 18-hole Golf de Rouen Mont-Saint-Aignan in Rouen on day three of the cruise, and the stunning 18-hole Golf d’Etretat, spread over the cliff-tops above the bay of Étretat, on day four. Uniworld will provide all golf equipment, completely free of charge*.
The new golfing activities are part of Uniworld’s ‘Go Active’ programme, which offers guests a range of onshore excursions focussed on fitness and wellbeing. Other ‘Go Active’ excursions featured on the 2017 Paris & Normandy itinerary include: cycling in Giverny; hiking to Richard the Lionheart’s 12th Century stronghold, Château Gaillard; and cycling along the Seine’s Left Bank in Paris. Prices for the eight day Paris & Normandy cruise aboard the all-new S.S. Joie de Vivre start from £2,489 per person.
Featuring 28 luxury cruise itineraries across Europe and Russia, the 2017 programme also introduces two brand new itineraries, the 10 day Paris & Impressions of the Seine plus the 10 day Rhine-Main Discovery & Munich – a special themed cruise exploring Germany’s fascinating Jewish heritage.
Uniworld has expanded its family friendly offering even further in 2017, introducing a further six ‘Generations’ cruise departures.
