Auberge Resorts Collection has expanded into the South Pacific.
The US-based company has taken over the management of the Nanuku Resort & Spa – the first all-villa luxury boutique resort to be built on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu. Following the acquisition, the property has been rebranded as the Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji.
“We are delighted to bring the Auberge brand to the Fiji Islands,” said Auberge’s CEO, Craig T. Reid. “The newly rebranded Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji is a gem of a South Seas resort embracing all the requisite Auberge hallmarks: sensational locale, exceptional service and cuisine and guest experiences that inspire a sense of discovery.
“This is a natural partnership and an exciting addition to the Auberge Resorts Collection portfolio,” he added.
The Nanuku Resort initially opened last March and Auberge is now planning to add five private beachfront residences. Available for private purchase, the residences will be managed by Auberge and rented out on behalf of their owners.
“The residences offer a rare home ownership opportunity in Fiji where just 9% of land is available for private residential ownership,” Reid said.
Headquartered in California, Auberge Resorts Collection owns and operates a series of luxury hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs in the US, Mexico and Caribbean.
