Christmas spirit appears to be in short supply among police in the US. An investigation is underway into a detective who reportedly drew his gun during a mass snowball fight in Washington DC. According to a BBC report, a video shows people pelting the officer, who was not in uniform, with snowballs after his car got stuck in the snow. The man then appears to pull out a gun. Police refused to comment, but told the BBC that an investigation was under way. However the officer was reported admitting to pulling his weapon.
“Yes I did because I got hit by snowballs,” he was reported saying. But the threat didn’t seem to work, with people continuing to pelt the officer even after his drew his gun.
