Turkish Airlines and US Airways have signed a codeshare agreement to provide more options between the two countries. The two Star Alliance carriers will allow US travellers access to Istanbul from Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich with further connections to Adana, Izmir, Antalya and Ankara. In addition, US Airways passengers can take non-stop flights to Istanbul from New York and Chicago. Connections will also be boosted to Charlotte, Philadelphia and Phoenix. “This codeshare partnership served as an example of Turkish Airlines’ target to maximise the opportunities offered to passengers by enabling them to enjoy extensive networks of both airlines,” said Turkish Airline Executive Vice President (Commercial) Orhan Sivrikaya.
