VietJetAir adds summer flights
VietJet Air has revealed plans to add a series of extra flights this summer.
From 20 May to 31 August 2013, the Vietnamese low-cost carrier will add a third daily flight to its Hanoi-Danang route, while the services from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Vinh and Haiphong will all double, from one to two round trips per day.
VietJetAir has also announced plans to launch two new routes. A new twice daily service will connect Hanoi and Nha Trang, while flights between HCMC and Buon Ma Thuot, in the Central Highlands, will operate daily.
Existing routes from HCMC to Haiphong and Bangkok, and from Hanoi to Dalat, are also expected to increase in frequency.
“We are committed to creating more low-cost flying opportunities for our customers by expanding our network and scheduling even more flights,” said Desmond Lin, VietJet’s Business Development Manager. “We are not only the best choice for holidaysmakers but also businesspeople flying regularly in Vietnam or between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.”
In total, VietJet plans to add 1,600 extra flights, or 300,000 more seats, across its network this summer, all aboard its fleet of new 180-seat, all-economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
