The national carrier of Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, is to choose a strategic investor ahead of its impending IPO next year.
The company said that it was moving the process forward as “fast as possible” and will complete a corporate evaluation report within the month to submit to the authorities.
The plan, which has previously been talked about, has reportedly been revived because of plans made by VietJet Aviation – Vietnam’s only private carrier to conduct its own IPO.
The government has been attempting to orchestrate an IPO since 2010.
