Indochina Airlines will become Vietnam’s first completely non-state-owned airline when it starts flying on domestic routes next month, Thanh Nien News has reported. Effective 25 November, the low-cost airline will operate four flights daily between Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Hanoi, and two from HCMC to Danang route, using its Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Two other private carriers, VietJet Air and Mekong Aviation, are expected to follow Indochina into the market.
