Virgin Atlantic is celebrating 16 years of flying from London to Delhi this month.
Since the launch of the route on 5 July, 2000, the airline has flown more than two million passengers.
In addition, the airline’s joint venture with Delta offers Indian passengers connections to more than 200 destinations via London Heathrow.
The carrier is offering incredibly low fares to its customers to celebrate its 16th birthday.
Return Premium Economy fares to London start from INR 75506 and Upper Class starts from INR 129690. The airline is also offering special fares to various destinations in US. All fares include taxes and charges and are available for sale until July 7, 2016 midnight.
Virgin Atlantic has deployed its newest aircraft, the next-generation 787 Dreamliner on all flights between India and UK to ensure customers travel in comfort, style and with the latest on board technologies.
The airline offers a distinct blend of British-Indian culture on all flights. It sources local food, airs a selection of Bollywood blockbusters and provides a personalised service from local Indian crew, all of which demonstrates the carrier’s commitment to the Indian market.

The VS300/VS301 is operated by a B-787-9 Dreamliner on the Delhi – London – Delhi route. The VS301 departs Delhi at 1255 hrs arriving into London Heathrow at 1730 hrs the same day. The return VS300 departs Heathrow at 2155 hrs arriving into Delhi at 1045 hrs the following day.
