Virgo goes to Hong Kong

As part of its seasonal deployment programme, Star Cruises’ SuperStar Virgo will move to Hong Kong in April.
“The deployment of the extravagant cruise ship to Hong Kong indicates the Company’s determination and emphasis in the Greater China market and the move will strengthen its development in the region,” the company said in a release.
“It also helps to uplift Hong Kong’s market significance as an international cruise centre.”
SuperStar Virgo will depart from Singapore on March 28 to Hong Kong until October 265. She will call at Ho Chi Minh City and Sanya before arriving in Hong Kong on April 2.
The ship’s inaugural cruise season will comprise of destination cruises to Xiamen and Sanya in China and Halong Bay in Vietnam. There will also be four special cruises to Keelung, Taiwan in April, June, July and September.
Currently, SuperStar Aquarius, SuperStar Libra and Star Pisces are home-ported in Hong Kong. The seasonal deployment program will see SuperStar Aquarius leaving Hong Kong for Singapore till October 28 while SuperStar Libra will be deployed to Taiwan till November 1.
