Vistara, the new Indian airline, will expand its network with the launch of new routes to Goa and Hyderabad.
The Delhi-based full-service airline launched its first flights on 9 January 2015 and now flies to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. And Vistara’s expansion will continue on 20 February with the launch of services to Goa, and then on 1 March with the start of flights to Hyderabad.
“Vistara has received an overwhelming response since its launch and we are delighted to announce the expansion of our network with flights from Delhi to Hyderabad and Delhi to Goa,” said Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO of Vistara.
“Both these cities offer huge potential in terms of passenger traffic. With the introduction of our new flights, we are in a strong position to enhance domestic air connectivity and provide the seamless and personalised Vistara experience to more customers in India. We are confident that travellers on these two routes will appreciate the unique value proposition we offer at a competitive price.”
Having started with 68 week flights, Vistara’s operations will reach 164 flights per week by March 2015, including five daily flights to Mumbai, 13 per week Ahmedabad, daily services to Goa and twice daily flights to Hyderabad.
This growth will be enabled by the arrival of two more Airbus A320 aircraft, taking Vistara’s total fleet size to five aircraft by March 2015.
