Macau, SAR – Today Viva Macau Airlines, Macau’s international award-winning airline, announced that it will waive bag-check fees for flights to and from Australia effective 1st February. Passengers traveling between Sydney/Melbourne and Macau will enjoy 15kg of checked-in luggage, plus 7kg of cabin baggage allowance, at zero cost!
Dr Reg Macdonald, Viva Macau Airlines CEO said, “We aim to offer convenient, value-for-money travel to our customers. We listen to our customers and in Australia in the case of our longest routes - Melbourne and Sydney – they said “no more bag-check fees, please”. Removing bag-check fees also streamlines our operations and allows passengers travelling with less than 15kg of baggage to avoid having to pay for their luggage at the airport.”
He added, “We want to make travelling on Viva Macau Airlines easy and the most convenient experience for all our passengers, so that we continue to be leader in value-for-money travel between Australia and Macau, and the South China/Hong Kong region.”
Coinciding with the waive of bag-check fees in Australia, Viva Macau Airlines is offering special fares departing Melbourne from AUD$389(MOP2,385) and Sydney from AUD$408 (MOP2,510).
