The Westin Bund Center Shanghai has revamped its lobby lounge as an event space.
The ‘Heavenlies Lobby Lounge’ has been redesigned using the principles of feng shui, with a cantilevered glass staircase – the first of its kind to be constructed in China – now available for use as a stage for live performances and speeches.
The hotel also offers an LED screen as a backdrop for presentations.
“We are delighted to add Heavenlies Lobby Lounge into our inventory of available event space. I am confident that event organisers will welcome this initiative as Heavenlies is not only a unique space surrounded by feng shui elements, but also features an immense amount of natural light from the expansive skylight,” said Andreas Trauttmansdorff, general manager of the Westin Bund Center Shanghai.
This additional venue brings the total amount of available function space at the hotel to 1,845m², covering 18 meeting and conference venues.
