Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced its debut in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, with the opening of The Westin Nanjing. With the addition of The Westin Nanjing, Westin now operates 11 hotels in China and is set to double its footprint in the country over the next two years.

Overlooking Xuanwu Lake, The Westin Nanjing is located on Hunan Road, downtown Nanjing. The hotel is close to the Xuanwu Lake subway station and the Nanjing Train station.

The hotel’s 234 guest rooms will include the brand’s signature Westin Heavenly Baths and Heavenly Beds, along with a 42-inch LCD HDTV, high-speed Internet access, mp3 docking station, and an
ergonomic work space.
The Westin Nanjing features three restaurants and lounges including Seasonal Tastes on the 23rd floor with an open kitchen, full-length windows and views of Xuanwu Lake, and the Five Zen5es, with authentic Huaiyang cuisine.
The property also features 930m2 of meeting and banqueting space, including a 530m2 grand ballroom overlooking the lake. Other amenities include a business centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and the WestinWORKOUT gym.
