Radisson is offering guests the chance to try their hand at hotel management with a new mobile game.
The ‘Rad Hotel by Radisson’ game challenges players to design and operate simulated hotels, and grow their business. Key areas of the game include allocating rooms for arriving guests, fulfilling guest requests and expanding the hotel by creating additional rooms. Players must balance of all three of these factors to earn points. The game has no conclusion, but increases in difficulty as time goes on.
Players have the ability to compare top scores on an interactive, global leader board.
“Today’s consumers are interacting with brands on multiple levels,” said Richard Flores, Radisson’s vice president of branding. “Radisson’s venture into the mobile gaming world allows existing and future guests to connect with the brand in a new way that is unique to most of our competitors.”
The game was created after Radisson invited developers to attend a one-day event to come up with a hotel-themed game concept. The winning participants received a US$25,000 prize.
