A Chinese woman was barred from a flight after downing an entire bottle of US$190 cognac.
The BBC reports that the passenger, named only as Mrs Zhou, was told she could not carry the bottle of Remy Martin XO on to the flight from Beijing to Wenzhou, as it exceeded the liquid allowance. So instead of wasting it, she drank the entire bottle there and then!
Unfortunately, Mrs Zhou then became incredibly drunk and was deemed unfit to fly. She is reported to have started shouting incoherently, then fell over and started rolling around the floor.
After sleeping off the effects of the cognac, Mrs Zhou was picked up by family members. She reportedly thanked police for helping her.
