Work to start on Shanghai Natural History Museum

Construction will begin on the new NaturalHistory Museum in Shanghai’sJing’an District by June, according to a Shanghai Daily report. The newattraction will take two to three years to build, and will replace the existingageing Natural History Museum, which opened, which has seen falling visitornumbers.
The new museum is one of several new science projects planned for Shanghai, including the Shanghai Technical DevelopmentExhibition Hall, the Museum of Chinese Martial Arts and the Shanghai Anti-drug Museum.
