Wotif ties up with Trust
Australian online travel company, Wotif Group, has teamed up with reservation system provider Trust International.
Following an integration process connecting Trust’s CRS technology and Wotif Group’s WotConnect hotel booking interface, more than 6,000 independent and chain properties from around the world will be able to receive bookings and reservations via wotif.com, lastminute.com.au and travel.com.au.
“We are thrilled to have concluded our connectivity with Trust International, and its network of renowned hotel partners. When we explored potential CRS collaboration, the Trust portfolio fitted very well in terms of enhancing our current direct hotel offerings,” said Matthew Harris, Wotif’s Executive General Manager for EMEA and the Americas. “We constantly work to increase accommodation choices for travellers. Through this partnership, not only will we improve our global coverage, we will also significantly expand our offer of mid-range and top-class hotels to discerning customers. This alliance with Trust will help us provide consistently high-quality options to our customers at the leading market rates.”
Trust International’s database includes a list of independent hotels, as well as chain and collection hotels.
“At Trust we have a commitment to build long-term partnerships with reliable distribution partners. With a popular presence in 69 countries and a leading market position in Australia and New Zealand, Wotif Group is an ideal partner for us to gain vital access to key markets around the world. Ultimately this will help generate global demand and revenue for our partners as an integral part of the online distribution mix,” commented Richard Wiegmann, Managing Director of Trust International.
